Memorial Weekend: Day Two

Ok, 4th of July has come and gone but we've been busy! Anyways, here's what happened the rest of the weekend when Perm came to visit. We decided to show the rest of the weekend in pictures (hint: it's been TOO long but we hate to not post these pictures from our award winning brother)

Sunday on the Lake

Last weekend we posted that it was our first weekend where had the opportunity to enjoy some of the fruits of Austin. Spring is Jessica's favorite season and we wanted to make sure that we enjoyed all of the beautiful weather before it gets too hot here in Texas.

We went to The Oasis on Lake Travis with his cousin, Lane, and Paul. It was so great to catch up with family.

What was a great day! We were glad to be able to enjoy the lake under blue skies and with some good company especially since the last time we were here the lake was down almost 50 feet and it was pouring rain.

Paradise Cove

With such a beautiful, sunny California day we couldn't resist heading out to the beach. Jake, Abe, my mom, and I began the morning in Paradise Cove enjoying a gorgeous view and an even better breakfast. Then, we drove along PCH towards Leo Carillo's dog beach. Let's just say that Stew didn't like the big bad waves!
